THE MEGAVOLTAGE GENERATOR

 

      The levita= tor and both turbines need 1200 kilovolts, as negative as positive. Most of sou= rces for such voltage are big and heavy. Moreover, they use much electric energy= , in the order of many kilowatts. We have developed a Crockroft-Walton generator. Its technical characteristics are the following:

15 voltage-doubler stages with 5= pF condensers.

Exciting coil: primary 8 uHy; secondary 1 Hy.=

Frequency: resonant Tesla system; 71 KHz; solid st= ate pulse generator.

Primary voltage source: 120 v<= /span>

Final primary current: 3 amps.

High voltage output: 1.2 MV.

Power: 360 watts.

Size: 30 x 30 x 100 cm.

   For both polarities, 720 watts. It can climb to 1 KW i= f in the insulators flows a current in the order of 100 uA. In a levitator of 1 = ton (to hang 10 tons) current should be similar to such value.    

   However, current electronic engineering can improve these values.
